Must visit places

  1. Grand palace: there's the most important buddha here where the king himself change the cloth of the buddha. The palace is grandiose, combination of europe and thailand architecture.

  2. Wat Pho: Of course there's a temple of reclining buddha here, which is pretty amazing.

  3. Platinum mall: so many people here, you pretty much find everything you need in this mall.

  4. Asia tique: the place is fantastic, there's London Eye here, handful restaurants, and ships.

  5. Jodd First rama 9: food heaven. No more explanation required.

  6. MBK center: many halal foods here, there's Ali restaurant in the ground floor.

Learnings

  1. Grab is helpful, however so few drivers can speak English

  2. Cash is still being used in many of transactions

  3. When you're passing sukhumvit street, keep your head straight ahead

  4. Practice speaking Thai: sadikha, sadikhap (hello), kop khun kha, kop khun krap (thank you) as it shows respect
